Online Feedback Session

The Sunrise Tomorrow Interactive Map was open for comment from Tuesday, June 30, 2020 through Tuesday, July 14, 2020.

The map provided the opportunity for the public to learn more about the Sunrise Tomorrow Plan: 21st Century Main Street, share their feedback with comments and ideas, and take our survey.

Based on feedback from our community, the City Council, and other key stakeholders, the city and project team honed in on a vision for the Sunrise Tomorrow project: 21st Century Main Street.

City Council and Planning Commission Study Session

Time: 5PM - 7PM

Location: Citrus Heights City Hall

Come hear the project team publicly present project updates to the City Council and Planning Commission. This will be a formal presentation to the City Council, but the Council will not take action on items discussed in the study session. This meeting is open to the public, which may provide public comment to the Council on the study session topic.

Community Workshop

At the first community workshop held on February 11, 2020, 300+ members of the community came to the old Sears building to learn more about the project and share their vision for Sunrise Tomorrow. 

Stakeholder Interviews

Between November 2019 and January 2020, the City and Project team conducted 54 interviews with community stakeholders to learn about their viewpoints on the project. Interviews took place at Citrus Heights City Hall and by phone.
